Natural and manufactured stone and thin brick for accents, wainscots and full walls, set on a proper moisture-managed backing.
Stone and brick veneer give a house weight and permanence. A band of stone at the base of the walls, a stone-clad front entry or a thin brick wainscot pairs beautifully with siding, adding contrast and a sense of craft. Veneer comes as natural thin stone, manufactured stone made from concrete and thin brick cut from real clay brick, and it can cover walls without the weight and footing demands of full masonry.
The look depends on the details behind it. Veneer needs a proper weather barrier, a drainage path, metal lath where required and correct flashing at the top, the bottom and around openings. Grout lines should be even and the pattern balanced so the wall feels natural rather than stamped. We plan transitions to siding, set the veneer with correct mortar and finish with caps and sills that shed water. We also tell you honestly when a project needs a mason or a structural fix we do not do ourselves.
Lath, scratch coat and weather barrier are installed so the stone sticks and moisture can drain.
We mix pieces by size and color so the wall looks natural and not repetitive.
Where stone meets siding we use flashing and trim so the joint stays tight and tidy.
Tops of walls and sills are capped and sloped so water runs away from the veneer.
