A tough, paintable siding that stands up to storms, sun and pests and gives your home the look of fine painted wood.
Fiber cement is a blend of cement, sand and cellulose fibers pressed into planks, panels and shingles. It does not rot like wood, is not a meal for termites, and shrugs off the hail, wind and humidity that wear down other materials. Painted at the factory or on site, it keeps crisp edges and rich color, which is why it is a favorite on modern farmhouses and upscale new builds around Nashville and Williamson County.
It is also heavier and harder to work with than vinyl, and it needs correct installation to perform. Cuts must be made with the right blades and dust control, joints need flashing, and nails go where the manufacturer specifies. Every cut edge must be sealed and the bottom edges kept off the roof and the ground. We install it carefully, prime and paint or choose pre-finished boards, caulk the right joints and leave you with a wall that looks great and stays that way with only periodic cleaning and repainting.
It resists rot, termites and woodpeckers and does not melt or warp in the sun.
Smooth, textured or shake profiles give the look of fine wood with much less upkeep.
Dust control and the right blades protect the crew, the home and the edges of every board.
Cut edges are sealed and joints flashed so moisture does not wick into the board.
