Decorative and functional gable vents, louvers and trim details that finish the peaks of your home.
Gable ends are the triangles at the peaks of a home, and they are a focal point of the facade. Gable vents and louvers add a traditional touch, help ventilate attic space and break up large areas of siding. A decorative round, half-round or rectangular louver in a well-finished gable can lift the whole front of the house.
We install new vents or replace worn ones, wrap the openings in trim, flash them correctly and tie them into the siding so rain cannot find a path inside. Where a vent is no longer needed, we can close and cover the opening neatly. We also check the attic space behind for signs of moisture or pests. When the gable is re-sided, we coordinate the vent style, trim and color with the siding so the whole peak looks intentional and cohesive. We also check how the vent lines up with the window below it, since small alignment details make a gable look intentional.
Round, half-round and rectangular vents add character and help move air through the attic.
Each vent gets trim and flashing so water does not enter around its edges.
We look inside for moisture, mold or animal activity when we are at the opening.
Color, trim and siding style are coordinated so the peak looks finished.
