A thorough exterior inspection with photos and a plain report for buyers, sellers, owners and boards.
Siding hides a lot. A house can look fine from the street and still have loose panels, failed flashing, soft sheathing or evidence of past leaks. A thorough inspection sorts what is cosmetic from what is serious, which is useful whether you are buying a house, getting ready to sell, planning a project or trying to decide if it is time to replace instead of repair.
We look at every wall, corner, trim line, window and door surround, soffit, fascia, gutter and penetration. We probe suspicious spots, check moisture where it is practical, inspect the foundation line and attic edges that we can reach and photograph what we find. You get a plain-language report that lists the condition of each elevation, items to monitor and items that need repair, along with the likely options for each. We do not pad the list, and we tell you plainly when the siding is in good shape.
Corners, trim, openings, soffit and gutters are all checked, not just the large wall areas.
We probe soft spots and check moisture where useful to learn what is really going on.
Clear photos and notes make it easy to understand, share and act on the findings.
If the siding is fine, we say so. If it needs work, we explain the options.
