Custom aluminum or PVC trim wraps that cover wood casings, ends the painting cycle and finishes openings cleanly.
Window and door frames take a beating from sun and rain. Wood casings peel, check and rot, and repainting them every few years gets old. A trim wrap, often called capping, covers the exposed wood with custom-bent aluminum or a PVC board that never needs paint, finishes the opening with a clean, even look and protects the frame from the weather.
We measure each opening and form aluminum on site so it fits exactly, with hems and drip edges where water should shed. Where the wood is soft we repair it before covering, so we never wrap over rot. Then we fasten, seal and finish the joints so water cannot get behind the cap. The result is a cleaner, more modern look around your windows and doors, and one less thing to paint, whether you are re-siding or just want to end the maintenance.
Aluminum is bent on site to the exact shape of each opening, so there are no gaps and no mismatches.
Soft wood is repaired or replaced first so the cap protects sound material.
Drip edges and sloped sills carry water off the frame instead of into it.
Many colors are available to match the siding, shutters or the roof.
