Clean, ventilated soffit and wrapped fascia that finish your roof edge, keep pests out and protect the rafters from rain.
Soffit is the underside of your roof overhang and fascia is the board that runs along the edge where the gutters hang. Together they close the roof edge, let the attic breathe, keep birds, squirrels and wasps out and shield the rafter tails from rain. When they are missing, rotted or poorly installed, water gets into the structure and animals move into the attic, and the house looks unfinished no matter how nice the siding is.
We install vented soffit in vinyl, aluminum or fiber cement, wrap fascia boards in aluminum or install new trim, and fit them so that air can flow from the eaves into the attic. We check the rafter tails for rot, fix any soft wood and flash drip edges so water drains into the gutters instead of behind them. Careful detailing at corners and where the overhang meets the wall gives a crisp, finished line that completes the siding project.
Vented soffit pulls fresh air into the attic, which helps control heat and moisture in every season.
Tight, well-fastened panels and trim keep birds, squirrels and wasps from finding a way in.
We check and repair the wood behind the fascia, and wrap it so rain cannot reach it.
Corners and returns are cut and fitted neatly for a crisp finish all the way around the house.
